His Excellency Prof. Dr. Pham Vu Luan, Vietnam Minister of Education and Training-cum-SEAMEO Council President, and high-ranking officials made an official visit to SEAMEO CELLL in Ho Chi Minh City on 13 February, 2015 and received a warm welcome by the Centre.
The meeting was attended by SEAMEO CELLL staff, including its external staff. At the meeting, Mr. Le Huy Lam, SEAMEO CELLL Centre Director delivered his welcoming remarks, followed by a presentation by Ms. Vu Lan Chi, Deputy Director, on the establishment of SEAMEO CELLL and the very first achievements by the Centre. Finally, Mr. Le Huy Lam shared the challenges that the Centre is facing for SEAMEO Council President’s advice.
His Excellency Professor Dr. Pham Vu Luan recognized the great efforts of the Centre and gave general advice on the issues.
On this occasion, the Centre Resource Room Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held to mark this significant visit of the President of SEAMEO Council.
This visit to the Centre was part of Prof. Dr. Pham Vu Luan’s tour to many SEAMEO units as SEAMEO Council President just before the new year holiday.
