The Regional Centre for Lifelong Learning of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO CELLL) was established under Decision No. 1561/QD-BGDĐT dated April 23, 2012 by the Minister of Education and Training, and the Memorandum of Agreement signed by the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and SEAMEO on 20/3/2013.
On 20 July 2013, Vietnam USA Society (VUS) held the 8th ELT Conference in Ho Chi Minh city. The theme of the conference was “Incorporating Technology in ELT – Why and How?”. At the conference, SEAMEO CELLL Research and Training Manager gave a presentation on using Microsoft PowerPoint in making different types of interactive exercises, converting exercises in printed books into electronic versions to make lessons more interesting and students more engaging in the class activities.
