40th SEAMEO High Officials Meeting convened

The 40th SEAMEO High Officials Meeting was convened on 29-30 November 2017  at the Montien Riverside Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.  A total of 131 participants representing 11 SEAMEO Member Countries, 02 Associate Members, 24 SEAMEO Regional Centres/ Network, Partners and Observers participated in the meeting.  Apart from 15 working papers which were adopted by concensus ad referendum, 14 other working papers were presented and adopted through plenary presentations by the SEAMEO Secretariat and relevant SEAMEO Centres.
HE Dr Sophon Napathorn, Vice Minister of Education of Thailand, presided over the Opening Ceremony,  and Dr Didik Suharti, Secretary General of Ministry of Education and Culture Indonesia, chaired the meeting.
