The toolkit combines information and resources developed by various organizations on disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) in schools. It is tailored for high-risk school communities in the region within the context of education for sustainable development. It presents important key concepts and examples of disaster risk reduction and management at the school level. It is intended for school heads and teachers to help them coordinate, set up, maintain and sustain effective DRRM programs in their school communities.
